The slip-on shoes are available in black and white

A pair of Skechers trainers have been praised by nurses working long hospital shifts. The Women's Sure Track Health Care Professional Shoes are currently on sale - the white pair has been reduced from £79.99 to £40.84, while the black colour option is on offer for £63.20.

The shoes are slip-resilient and have been specifically designed for the workplace, especially by healthcare professionals on their feet for long periods. The trainers are machine washable, making them practical and durable for nurses and doctors.

The sole is rubber and the inner and outer material is leather. They also have memory foam for added comfort.

The Skechers trainers have more than 7,000 customer reviews. One customer wrote: "Good comfy nursing shoes!

"Made my feet feel supported during a 12-hour shift. The only negative is I don’t think they are very breathable as they are not very ventilated so keep in mind if that bothers you."

A second added: "A nurse's dream. The most comfortable work shoes I have ever owned!

"Comfortable, smart and they keep your feet dry! Highly recommended, especially for people who are on their feet all day/night."

A third simply said: "Perfect for a nurse of the wards all day." A fourth commented: "Great fit and memory foam for nursing placement, perfect."

However, one customer found them uncomfortable explaining: "I don't care if shoes are ugly if they are comfortable. I wanted something more waterproof than fabric Skechers but these pinch in every possible place a shoe can.

"Hideously painful shoes and I will be returning ASAP. Very disappointed."

Another disappointed customer wrote: "I bought this pair on March 2023. I used them for five months and they are damaged already. I didn’t overuse it.

"I work as a Ward Clerk and I need to wear black shoes, I felt really upset because I thought these pairs should last at least one year, not five months. Not buying it again."

Alternatively, these M&S trainers from the retailer's Goodmove range are £49.50. They come in beige and black colourways.

These are a great option if you are in between sites as Markies' offer half sizes, which is quite hard to find these days. They have a knitted design and laces.
