Customers with TSB bank have reported issues with their accounts this morning - with some reportedly not having been paid when they should have been.

A number of frustrated customers have taken to X, formerly Twitter, to report problems with BACS payments and money going into their accounts. The bank said the problem is being looked into 'urgently'.

One customer Bernie wrote on X: "@TSB Hi TSb, what is happening with BACS payments - I'm expecting a payment but have not yet received anything. I'm getting worried."

Another X user said: "@TSB is there something wrong with online banking/TSB? I haven’t been paid when I should have been."

Rhi wrote: "@TSB this is extremely worrying and causing a great deal of anxiety as many of us live paycheck to paycheck. We rely on getting our money when we're supposed to get it. I hope you're going to fix this quickly and not make us wait all day."

Lizzie said: "@TSB any time frame on when I will be able to access my money? I have bills coming out and kids to feed. This is ridiculous."

In response to the users on X, TSB apologised and said the bank was 'working' on the issue. "We can confirm that some payments customers expected to receive today haven’t arrived in their accounts", TSB said.

"We’re sorry for this, and we are working on fixing this. We will provide an update as soon as possible."

A message on the app said: "We're aware of an issue with some BACS payments not yet showing on customers accounts. We are looking into this urgently and will provide an update as soon as possible."
