Manchester Christmas Markets 2024: Cheap places to park

As Manchester city centre is transformed into what looks and feels like a Christmas film set, you will undoubtedly be planning a trip.
Christmas is a popular time for Mancunians so the city centre can get very busy! It is good to plan your journey beforehand to avoid any travel stresses.

You can get to Manchester City Centre by public transport or car. You can hop on a tram, a bus or jump in your car.
Manchester Christmas Markets is split up across nine locations: King Street West, St Ann’s Square, Exchange Street, New Cathedral Street, Exchange Square, Corn Exchange, Cathedral Gardens, Market Street, and Piccadilly Gardens.

The Manchester Christmas Markets main location is in Piccadilly Gardens, which is transformed into "Winter Gardens".
The cheapest option near Piccadilly Gardens is the NCP Chorlton Street, but if you are happy to have a bit of a walk then the Dantzic Street car park is the cheapest at £3.50 for two hours.
Manchester also has a park and ride service which you can use for travelling to and from the Christmas Markets this year.
