A unique property in Bristol consisting of two self-contained four bedroom HMOs and a Banksy artwork is due to go on sale at an auction next month. The property, located in Stokes Croft, forms two HMOs, a retail unit and the Mild Mild West artwork, one of the artist’s earliest works.

Going on sale on November 20, the property has a guide price of £750,000 and is located near the city centre. Accommodation is arranged over four floors with additional access via the rear courtyard from City Road.

The property consists of two HMOs, licensed as maisonettes, suitable for four students each. Currently the maisonettes are vacant, and Hollis Morgan understands that the maisonettes were being let out to students for £2,750 and £3,000 per calendar month respectively.

A small retail unit, currently an independent barber, is located within the property and is on a rolling contract paying £2,000 per quarter. The listing advises that there “may be scope” to convert the retail unit into a self-contained flat or incorporate it onto the adjacent maisonette.

On the side of the property is the Mild Mild West artwork by Banksy. The artwork, depicting a teddy bear throwing a Molotov cocktail at riot police, was created in 1999.
