CGC Jhanjeri’s MD attends 7th US-India Conference - Greater Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 9: Arsh Dhaliwal, Managing Director of Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Jhanjeri, participated in the 7th US-India Conference at UC Santa Cruz Silicon Valley Campus on October 1st, 2024. The conference, themed “India & US: Trade-linked, Tech-Driven, Trust-Based,” explored AI’s role in the economy, geopolitical shifts in Asia, and global economic transformations.

During his US visit, Dhaliwal signed an MoU with Westcliff University, California, opening new opportunities for CGC Jhanjeri students. The conference’s discussions on AI and the digital economy will influence CGC Jhanjeri’s curriculum, aligning with its vision of preparing students for a changing digital landscape.

   

Notable speakers included P.K. Agarwal, Dean of UC Santa Cruz; Cynthia Larive, Chancellor of UC Santa Cruz; K. Srikar Reddy, Consulate General of India, San Francisco; and Sunil Kant Munjal, Chairman of AIMA International and Hero Enterprise.

Dhaliwal emphasised the conference’s significance in fostering innovation and excellence in education, positioning CGC Jhanjeri as a leader in global education.
