Bundles of cash seized from car while checking in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The commiserate police have seized around Rs 4 lakh 77 thousand rupees of unaccounted cash from a car while checking near Omfed chhak here on Saturday night.

According to sources, a car hit police barricades at a check post and got severely damaged. So, the police seized the car and conducted a through search of the vehicle.

During the search, cash worth around Rs 4.77 lakh was seized from the car by the police. Moreover, the driver of the was reportedly drunk. The man has been identified as Divyajyoti Nayak.

Police is now looking into the source of the money and investigation is ongoing.
