New India Assurance Co. Ltd (NIACL) has published a notification for the recruitment of Administrative Officer(Generalists and Specialists) (Scale-I) Vacancies. Interested candidates can apply for the vacant posts after reading the detailed notification on the official website https://newindia.co.in/ on September 29, 2024. The vacant posts are categorized into two categories: generalists and specialists.

As per the official notification, The Phase-I online examination (Objective) will be tentatively scheduled for October 13. The Phase-II exam (Objective + Descriptive) is to be held on November 17, 2024. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 170 vacancies, with 50 in Accounts and 120 in Generalists.

NIACL AO Recruitment 2024, Eligibility 

Age Limit: The minimum Age of the candidate is 21 years and the Maximum Age is 30 years as of September 1, 2024. The age relaxation of the candidates is applicable according to the rules.
Educational Qualification: 
Generalists: A candidate should have a minimum qualification of a graduate/postgraduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University with 60% marks (General category) or 55% marks (SC/ST/PwBD category).
Accounts: Chartered Accountant (ICAI) and Graduation/Post graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD).

2. On the homepage, click on the registration link under “Recruitment of Administrative Officers 2024”
3. Click on the AO recruitment apply online link, register yourself, and proceed with the application process
4. Fill up the form, pay the fee, and submit the form
5. Candidates are urged to take a printout of the application for future references.

Application Fee:

The application fee for all candidates is ₹850/- (inclusive of GST) and ₹100/- for SC/ST/PwBD category candidates.

Selection Process:

The selection process consists of three phases: Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III. Phase I is the preliminary examination, Phase II is the main examination, and Phase III is the interview round. For more details, candidates can visit the official website of NIACL.
