IIM Bangalore achieves 100% internship placement, 601 students land job offers
Students from the PGP and PGP in Business Analytics programmes at IIM Bangalore have received job offers from a wide range of sectors, including leading global firms in consulting, banking, and IT. Notably, Accenture Strategy has set a new record by doubling the total number of offers made.

The Summer Internship Placement process for the PGP and PGP-BA 2024–26 students at the Indian Institute of Management, IIM Bangalore has successfully concluded. During the placement week from October 21 to 26, 2024, all 601 participating students received internship offers from 140 different organisations.
Students received offers across diverse domains, including Consulting, Finance, Product Management, Sales and Marketing, General Management, and Analytics.
Professor Nishant Verma, Chairperson of Career Development Services, IIM Bangalore, said: "The PGP and PGPBA cohorts delivered an outstanding performance during Summer Placement Week, securing prestigious offers from top companies. The Placement Committee, together with the CDS Office, managed the process with exceptional precision. We look forward to the continued engagement with all the recruiting firms and to strengthening the relationship further."
According to Tapas Ranjan Pati, Head of Career Development Services, "Leading global recruiters provided positive feedback on both the students' performance and the placement process. Management Consulting continues to be the top preference among students, accounting for 38% of the offers. We would also like to highlight the record offers made by Accenture Strategy."
On behalf of the Placement Committee, representatives Priyashi Kumari and Manan Sadaria stated, "This Summer Placement season, we achieved a remarkable milestone by receiving the highest number of offers within just two days. This accomplishment emphasises our standing among Indian B-schools and highlights the confidence recruiters have in our talented students."
