CSIR UGC NET results 2024 to be released by October 15: Official update

The CSIR UGC NET 2024 results are expected to be released by October 15, according to the National Testing Agency (NTA). A recent announcement from CSIR on the microblogging platform X confirmed the tentative release date. Candidates who took the CSIR UGC NET exam on July 25, 26, and 27 across 187 cities can check their results once declared at csirnet.nta.ac.in.

To access their scorecards, students will need their application number and date of birth, as the results will not be sent by post or email. Out of the 2,25,335 registered candidates, 1,63,529 appeared for the test.

The provisional answer key was released on August 8, followed by the final answer key on September 11, after corrections. Initially scheduled for June 25-27, the exam was postponed to July due to logistical issues.

The Joint CSIR-UGC NET exam evaluates the eligibility of Indian nationals for roles such as Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), assistant professor positions, and PhD admissions in Indian universities, colleges, and research institutions.
