IGNOU July 2024 registration deadline for fresh ODL, online admissions extended

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline for fresh admissions to its July 2024 session for all online and Open Distance Learning (ODL) programmes. The new deadline is now set for September 30, 2024, giving prospective students additional time to enroll.

This marks the third extension of the admission deadline, which was previously extended to September 20 and earlier to September 10. Interested candidates can apply for undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate programmes through the official portals: onlinerr.ignou.ac.in for online courses and the ODL platform for distance learning.

HOW TO APPLY FOR IGNOU JULY 2024 ADMISSIONS

1. Visit the official IGNOU website.
2. Click on the admission link highlighted on the homepage.
3. Select the "New Registration" option.
4. Complete the application form with the required details.
5. Upload the necessary documents.
6. Submit the form.
7. Pay the registration fee.
8. Review all the entered information for accuracy.
9. Download and print a copy of the application for future reference.

Existing IGNOU students who need to re-register for the upcoming semester or academic year can do so via the re-registration portal.

Additionally, registration for the December 2024 Term-End Examination (TEE) is now open. Eligible students enrolled in ODL and online programmes can submit their exam forms at exam.ignou.ac.in by October 15, 2024, without incurring late fees.
