Akriti Chopra, Zomato co-founder and Chief People's Officer, resigns

Zomato co-founder and Chief People Officer Akriti Chopra has resigned from her position, ending her 13-year tenure at the food delivery giant.
The company informed the stock exchanges that Chopra had resigned from her position with immediate effect.
In her resignation email addressed to Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal, Chopra wrote, "Deepi, as discussed, I am formally submitting my resignation, effective today, September 27, 2024.
These 13 years have been an incredibly enriching journey. Thank you for everything. I'm just a call away. Wishing you and Eternal all the very best."
Chopra joined Zomato in 2011 as a senior manager in finance and operations.
She later served as the company's Chief Financial Officer, a position that was handed over to Akshant Goyal in 2020. Most recently, she held the role of Chief People Officer.
