For all the talk of Australia’s tech start-up stars in the past decade, the financial health of the sector still rests on a worryingly small group of people and companies.
More money is being raised, but it is being focused on fewer bets. And the superannuation sector is making many of the decisions. Over the past few years, it has become by far the biggest backer of venture capital in Australia.
