Former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin has revealed the reasons behind her ongoing resistance against HYBE.

On September 29, Min Hee Jin, now a director at ADOR, spoke as a keynote speaker at the '2024 Hyundai Card Da Vinci Motel' event in the Itaewon Hyundai Card area. She candidly addressed the ongoing conflict with HYBE during her talk.

She stated, "So far, the legal fees have amounted to 2.3 billion KRW (around 1.7 million USD). They're filing these pointless lawsuits to either prevent me from responding or to bankrupt me if I do. Fortunately, I'm not the type to save money and, since I've been spending it, I'm far from wealthy. I may have to sell my house because of the lawsuits, but I thought, 'Is this why I had a house? How lucky am I to have it—what would I have done without it?'"

She continued, "I want to punch and kick them, but without money, I can't fight back. I'm also thankful I don't have a husband or children. How could an ordinary person handle debts increasing by tens of billions of KRW every three months? That's why I decided, 'I have to win.' I want to prevent these kinds of fights from happening in the future. Someone has to take the hits and endure so that the process becomes clear."

Min Hee Jin further stated, "If something feels unjust, we need to push for new laws. I’m standing my ground so that people with money can't always win. Since April, I've been taking the hits. Suddenly, they claimed I had seized control. Even my lawyers and I were like, 'Huh? Where is this coming from?' We couldn't make sense of the situation. Why am I confident I'll win? Because I'm innocent."

She emphasized, "You can't create a crime where there isn't one. No matter how much they exaggerate, the truth will come out—it's a natural law. Although I've been hit with underhanded tactics, I believe there’s a reason for everything." She added resolutely, "It’s amazing that something like this can happen—this is a landmark case. I plan to document everything and make a documentary to reveal the entire process."

Previously, Min Hee Jin had mentioned that she doesn’t relieve stress through alcohol, smoking, or nightlife. She reiterated, "My life has just been a cycle between my studio and my home. That's probably what saved me. Even the lawyers initially said they respected me. In most cases, when situations like this arise, the company card gets drained and the person can't continue, eventually surrendering out of fear of embarrassment."

She confidently added, "The fact that I’ve made it this far means there's nothing for them to take. They're just making up reasons to attack me. I'm completely unfazed."

Meanwhile, Min Hee Jin was dismissed from her position as ADOR’s CEO during a board meeting on the 27th of last month, and the conflict remains ongoing.
