The reason behind NCB visiting Mannat and Ananya Panday’s home the same day; Officials also state that financial transactions of accused are being probed

In the ongoing cruise drugs case, the NCB has been investigating actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan’s bank account, as according to a new portal, there have been sources which state that the agency is trying to look into the financial details to find out if the money was being spent on drugs.

Elaborating further, the sources said, the agency is trying to find out if Aryan used to procure drugs for his consumption or ordered it to distribute among friends. “The financial details will ascertain if any bulk purchase were made. It will also investigate the mode of payment and whether Aryan was paying” the news portal quoted the source.

Meanwhile on the other hand, Ananya Pandey, who has also come under NCB scanner after Aryan Khan‘s arrest, was questioned for nearly four hours due to her alleged WhatsApp chats with Aryan Khan regarding the same.

A senior official of the central agency also said, The actress has again been called by the NCB on Monday. Reportedly, during the interrogation, Ananya was asked details related to Aryan Khan -- whether he was ordering drugs for himself and his friends; and who provided the drugs to her.

Earlier on October 21, Thursday, a team of NCB officials had gone to Shah Rukh Khan’s residence to collect some documents regarding his son Aryan Khan. However, no raids were conducted during the visit.

NCB’s zonal director Sameer Wankhede confirmed to ANI that there were no raids conducted, “NCB team visited Shah Rukh Khan’s residence to collect some documents related to Aryan Khan. No raids were conducted at ‘Mannat’,” On the same day, the officials also visited Ananya Panday’s residence in Bandra in order to pick up a few documents.

Meanwhile, Aryan Khan’s judicial custody has been extended till October 30. Aryan has moved the Bombay HC for bail and his plea will be heard on October 26.
