Ananya Panday to be questioned again, likely to know someone who supplied drugs to Aryan Khan: Report

Ananya Panday who was questioned for two days by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the ongoing drugs on cruise case, has reportedly denied the allegation of using drugs or helping Aryan Khan get drugs. Now, the latest report claims the actress has likely told NCB that she might know someone who can supply drugs or perhaps has supplied them to Aryan.

Earlier, the 22-year-old Bollywood actress was summoned by NCB on the basis of reportedly a two-year-old WhatsApp chat found on Aryan’s phone. The questioning will now continue on Monday. Meanwhile, Ananya Panday's home in Mumbai's Bandra was also raided by the agency officials on Saturday and her laptop and mobile phones have been seized. Ananya was questioned for almost 2 hours on Saturday and for four hours on Friday.

On Saturday, several reports suggested that NCB questioned a 24-year-old house-help of a celebrity who they believe might be peddling drugs to Aryan allegedly at the behest of Ananya. The person was taken into custody from Mumbai’s Malad area, and according to the reports, will be questioned again on Monday. The NCB has already confiscated a mobile phone from him after interrogating him.

Aryan Khan, the son of Shah Rukh Khan, was arrested by NCB after a drugs raid on a cruise ship party on October 2 and is right now in jail since October 8.

Ananya has been by NCB officer Sameer Wankhede, the officer leading the investigation, on WhatsApp chats which hinted that she might have helped Aryan procure weed. However, her answers reportedly have been unsatisfactory and the officials have decided to question her again on Monday.

Meanwhile, Aryan Khan is now in Mumbai's Arthur Road jail and has already been denied bail. Now, his request for bail will be heard by Bombay High Court on Tuesday. On Saturday, Shah Rukh visited his son in jail for the first time.
