A dad-of-three was killed in a crash just minutes after walking out of hospital, an inquest heard.

"Loving and caring" Anthony Mckenzie, 37, died after being hit by a BMW X4 near Fairfield Hospital, Bury.

An inquest into his death at Rochdale Coroners' Court found there had been a 'number of missed opportunities' to properly assess Anthony whilst in hospital.

The inquest found that the fatal collision on May 18 happened just minutes after he fled hospital, having been admitted the night before due to a mental health relapse.

Opportunities to give him a mental capacity assessment, which would have identified him as high risk and stopped him from being able to leave hospital, were missed.

The driver says he received a parking ticket after stopping a Lamborghini on a single yellow line

A driver says he is locked in a battle with enforcement officers after being slapped with a ticket for parking a Lamborghini on a double yellow line - when he said he hadn't.

The driver, who wished to remain anonymous, says he visited the Trafford Centre in the luxury sports car on Sunday (October 17) for an event in the evening.

He says it was the first time he had ever driven to the huge shopping centre, in Trafford, and as he approached the site road signs promised plenty of parking.

But as he arrived at the Orient 12 car park, close to the food court, the driver found he was unable to park in a space - so he stopped on the road heading out of the car park.
