Woman Killed After Alec Baldwin Fires A Prop Gun On A Movie Set

A woman has been killed after actor Alec Baldwin fired a prop gun on the set of his new film.

She has been named as 42-year-old Halyna Hutchins - who was the director of photography for the film Rust.

Police in New Mexico say Mr Baldwin, who is also the executive producer of the film, was using a prop gun.

Officers have spoken to a number of witness, as well as Alec Baldwin himself.

Another man, understood to be the movie's Director, was injured in the shooting.

Investigations are ongoing.
