The man and his nephew died from their injuries. The man’s 10-year-old son was injured and remains in the hospital.

A 40-year-old man and his nephew were shot dead while his son was injured after two armed men opened fire outside their residence in Delhi's Shahdara.

The incident occurred around 8.30 pm on October 31, as family members were preparing for Diwali celebrations, according to the Delhi Police. Akash, 40, and his 16-year-old nephew, Rishab, were killed, while Akash's 10-year-old son, Krish, sustained injuries.
