Maharashtra elections: Seat sharing talks continue within MVA alliance
The Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance in Maharashtra is continuing with its seat sharing discussions. Uddhav Thackeray, of the Sena UBT, is firm on obtaining Vidarbha seats, but the Congress is resistant. Maharashtra Congress Chief Nana Patole indicates no internal conflicts exist. Talks for 96 Congress seats are on, with discussions involving Sharath Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray for the remaining seats. The Samajwadi Party is also seeking seats.
