Paul Mescal and Irelands biggest stars attended the Irish premiere of Gladiator II at the Lighthouse Cinema last night.

Kildare native Paul Mescal was feeling the love at the Irish premiere of his new film "Gladiator II" at Dublin's Light House Cinema.

Mescal, who lives in London, stepped out on the red carpet in a white grandad collar shirt and grey jacket for the premiere which took place at the Lighthouse Cinema in Smithfield.

Taking the lead role in Ridley Scott's Gladiator II left Paul Mescal feeling like he could 'inflict real damage' after he underwent intense training sessions for the upcoming film.
