Shaina NC, the spokesperson of the BJP, has made an appearance on the list of Shiv Sena of Eknath Shinde -- one of the many surprises thrown up by the tussle over seats on either side in the assembly elections in Maharashtra.

Shaina NC was keen to contest from Worli in Mumbai, but the seat was ultimately given to Shiv Sena's Rajya Sabha MP and former Congress leader Milind Deora.

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, who heads the Shiv Sena, announced the latest list which also has the name of Sanjana Jadhav, daughter of former Union minister and BJP leader Raosaheb Danve.
