US Muslim advocacy group Emgage Action on Wednesday endorsed Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris, saying former President Donald Trump posed a greater danger to the community.

As many as 66 per cent of Asian American voters plan on voting for Harris, compared to 28 per cent who say they back former president Trump. Those who say they will support another candidate or are undecided account for six per cent.

Politicians often lean toward hyperbole, but the frequent use of the word “love” in the former president’s fund-raising notes is an increasingly common tactic for him.
