Pakistan Army deploys in Punjab to handle security
Islamabad, Pakistan: Capital police on Friday arrested two sisters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan from D-Chowk who reached the protest venue despite Islamabad being sealed with cargo containers. Aleema and Uzma Khan, sisters of Imran Khan, were detained by the police and were moved to the Secretariat police station. PTI workers and the police were engaged in Rawalpindi as well as in Islamabad and police used tear gas and rubber bullets while PTI workers kept the police engaged by throwing burning wooden logs. On the other hand, Federal Minister Musadaq Malik and Atta Tarrar held separate press conferences and said that the Prime Minister of Malaysia was visiting Pakistan to further strengthen economic ties but PTI did not respect guests and tried to make a scene in Islamabad.
