The man accused of attempting to assassinate former President Donald Trump at his Florida golf course appeared in court on Monday after being indicted on additional charges.

Ryan Routh, the man accused of plotting to kill Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump at his Florida golf course, pleaded not guilty to several federal charges.

Prosecutors claim the alleged suspect wrote a letter detailing his plans to kill the former president.

Routh entered the courtroom handcuffed in a tan jumpsuit and waved his hands at reporters gathered to watch the proceedings.
