Prince William presents The Earthshot Prize

The Prince of Wales is in South Africa by himself while the Princess of Wales continues to focus on her health. However, he still made it an evening to remember- he spoke in all eleven official languages of South Africa.

And as it is the most important part of the evening, His Royal Highness shared the winner from each prize category.
Advanced Themovoltaic Systems was the chosen winner for The Earthshot Prize to Fix Our Climate. The project works to convert waste heat into usable electricity.
The Earthshot Prize to Revive Our Oceans went to High Ambition Coalition for Nature & People, a project that helps push governments to stick to their promises to protect and care for our oceans.
The Keep It Cool app has won The Earthshot Prize to Build a Waste-Free World. The app helps provide a solution for food-waste while working with smallhold farmers and fishers.
The Earthshot Prize to Protect and Restore Nature has gone to the Altyn Dala Conservation Initiative, an organisation working to help bring back endangered species from the brink of extinction.
The fifth and final prize is The Earthshot Prize to Clean Our Air. Green Africa Youth Organization (GAYO) was chosen.
