The Voice UK confirms winner for 2024 as fans say same thing

The winner of The Voice UK 2024 has been revealed after a tense final. The four finalists gave their all for the last time tonight (October 26) as they battled it out to win £50k, a recording contract and a holiday to Orlando.

Billy and Louie, coached by Sir Tom Jones, Ava, coached by Tom and Danny, Deb Orah, coached by LeAnn Rimes and Storry, coached by Will.i.am, all went head-to-head. But only one of them could be crowned the 2024 champion of the singing competition. After eight weeks of blind auditions, callbacks and semi-finals, it was down to the votes of the audience.

The Voice coaches Sir Tom Jones, Will.i.am, LeAnn Rimes as well as Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones were back in their chairs for the last time this series as they hoped to see their chosen finalist be crowned champion. But it was Danny and Tom who bagged their first win as Ava was revealed to be the winner.

She had left viewers and the mentors emotional with her tender performance of The Long and Winding Road, which has been released as her first single. Speaking after her win was announced, Ava said: "Speechless like I am every time, but more speechless this time.

"But forever grateful." Turning to Danny and Tom, she added: "And these lot, they're amazing. I feel really honoured."

Fans were delighted by Ava's win, and took to X to comment. One wrote: "I’m so glad Ava won she is the first winner in ages where I’m like yes she could sell if the record label actually pushes for her."

A second echoed: "Ava fully deserved to win this year- genuinely think she’s someone who will do well in the industry - unique and super talented." A third said: "I’m so happy that Ava won @thevoiceuk bless her and congratulations @TomFletcher and Danny for their first ever win as coaches! maybe I’ll be on your team next year haha."

"Congratulations to Ava; well deserved," another fan wrote. And another added: "Happy that Ava won with Tom & Danny. Great singer & well deserved."
