A BBC Strictly Come Dancing star has PULLED OUT of the show and will make NO further appearances this season. Nick Knowles, the BBC DIY SOS star, won't be appearing in the final of the show after he was voted off earlier this season.

Injured Nick battled an arm injury ahead of his exit on the BBC show. Now it has emerged Nick, a former I'm A Celebrity star, is out of the Strictly Come Dancing final too as he undergoes TWO surgeries for his injury following an incident while changing a tyre on the motorway.

A fan has questioned what this means for Nick and Strictly's final show, as they asked: “Will you still be able to do the end of series dance in the final. Wouldn’t seem right you not being there.” Nick replied: “I’m not sure my injuries will allow.

"I have to wait for the knee operation until the bicep operation has healed so I can use crutches afterwards. So I don’t think recovery will be in time sadly.” Nick told fans he now has a 'reattched bicep' and 'two or three months' of physiotherapy ahead of him.

He told fans in a video on Twitter, now X: "Just woken up from my op. All went well by all accounts, so I have a reattached bicep now. A bit of physio over the next two or three months and all should be right as rain, back to 100% I think.

"That's one down and one to go on the knee," he added, before thanking his surgeon, Mr. Ahrens, along with the medical staff." Nick and Luba lost the dance-off to Shayne Ward and Nancy Xu. Both couples performed their routines again; Shayne and Nancy performed their Cha Cha to Ain't No Love (Ain't No Use) by Sub Sub feat. Melanie Williams.

Then, Nick and Luba performed their Charleston to Rain on the Roof from the film Paddington 2. But despite narrowly making it back into the competition as he recovered from a shoulder and knee injury, Nick, 62, was soon sent home by all four judges - Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke.
