BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans rush to comfort Wynne Evans after he admits 'I have concerns'
by James Rodger, https://www.facebook.com/jamesrodgerjournalist · Birmingham LiveWynne Evans has shared his concern after a backlash following THAT viral moment with BBC Strictly Come Dancing partner Katya Jones. Wynne, the face of Go Compare, shared his biggest concern after backlash over his misinterpreted joke with the Russian pro.
Speaking to Strictly spin off It Takes Two, Wynne said: "Rumba I'm enjoying but I don't know if I'm doing it right. I've got concerns about the hips. The hips, the hips, the hips." Katya supported the Welsh crooner in reply and said: "The hips are getting looser.
"Wynne's got beautifully shaped long legs so if we can put the legs with the hips, it'll be perfection. Can we get there by Saturday, who knows?" In an Instagram question and answer (Q&A) session this week, Wynne replied to one fan and said : "I don't know."

"I don't look at what's coming up. I just have to focus on getting through this week. I'm now the oldest and the fattest, so the fact I've made it this far is incredible," Wynne - who will return to the dancefloor this weekend with his next routine - added.
"So just focus on this week and getting through this week and then we'll see if I'm there next week. There's a lot of hips in the rumba, I may have actually discovered where my hips are." Wynne previously referenced the fallout from the joke and said the incident was misunderstood by viewers.
The controversy began during the show on Saturday 12 October, when professional dancer Jones appeared to forcibly remove her celebrity partner Evans's hand from her waist. She was then seen to later reject his offer of a high-five.
The pair addressed the controversy in a video posted to social media, in which Jones said: "We just wanted to say we were just messing around in the Clauditorium on Saturday night, and just want to say sorry for a silly joke."
Evans added: "Yeah, sorry."
