Strictly Come Dancing's Pete Wicks shares why he's single amid dating ex's pal confession

Strictly Come Dancing hopeful Pete Wicks has revealed the real reason why he's still single, despite having no problems meeting women

Pete Wicks was quizzed on his single status during an appearance on his friend Olivia Attwood's So Wrong It's Right podcast. The reality TV star, 36, admitted he mostly struggles with women not "sticking around", or being put off by an "aggravating" habit.

Former Love Island star Olivia, who married husband Bradley Dack in June 2023, introduced the subject by asking Pete : "You don’t have a problem meeting people, do you?"

The Strictly Come Dancing contestant replied: "Oh no, no, no, I just have a problem with them sticking around, or me wanting them to stick around. It’s probably more the latter because people aggravate me really easily!"

Later in the podcast, Olivia probed Pete on whether certain life decisions were either so wrong, or so wrong, it's right, one of which was going on a date with your ex’s friend.

Pete candidly confessed in response: "It’s wrong, but I’ve done it," to which Olivia sighed: "Of course you f***ing have!"

The star seemed to regret his actions, telling Olivia: "Yeah it’s wrong, isn’t it?"

"Yeah it’s icky, it’s wronger of the friend," Olivia pointed out, before Pete agreed: "That sounds like a them problem, but still it’s wrong."

Olivia then had a re-think about the idea, suggesting: "I think it could be so wrong, it’s right though, because I always say to Brad, I’m not proud of this, but if Brad cheated on me or something awful - I’m going for the inner circle!"

Pete also shut down any romance rumours with his professional dance partner, Jowita Przystał, as viewers have caused a stir amongst BBC viewers with their sizzling chemistry.

When asked by Olivia if they are dating, he replied: "Erm, no. We're dance partners, she's amazing and I get on really well with her.

"She is honestly one of the nicest people I've ever met in my life."
