Coleen Rooney is gearing up for a sensational return to television. It's been reported that the WAG and ex-TV personality is poised to spill the beans after signing a deal with ITV's hit show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

While the network has previously shelled out big bucks for stars like Caitlyn Jenner and forked over a whopping £1.5million for Nigel Farage, it's rumoured that Coleen's paycheck could dwarf these figures. TV chiefs are reportedly crossing their fingers that Coleen, 38, will dish the dirt on her other half, football icon Wayne Rooney, as well as give the lowdown on the notorious Wagatha Christie saga involving Rebekah Vardy.

The Scouse celeb is set to jet off to Australia next month where she'll brave the infamous Bushtucker Trials, battling to win meals for her fellow campmates.

"I'm A Celeb bosses have pulled off a huge coup getting Coleen for the jungle this year and the team are thrilled to have her on board," an insider revealed to The Sun on Sunday. "Coleen has a huge fanbase and she won massive plaudits for her classy handling of the Wagatha Christie case.

"She's excited to show fans a different side to her and prove she can survive without her creature comforts," before adding that TV chiefs are certain Coleen will resonate well with audiences and outshine Rebekah Vardy once again.

Rebekah Vardy, married to Jamie Vardy, took on the challenge back in 2017 but was the third celeb to be evicted from the camp, tearfully departing after a heartfelt message from her children and her adored hubby Jamie, who she'd been sorely missing.

Rebekah was embroiled in a bullying scanda on the show, allegedly joining Amir Khan and Jamie Lomas in targeting Iain Lee whom she later branded as "fake". Speaking to Ant and Dec post-exit, Rebekah expressed: "I have had the most amazing time but I am so glad to get out of there. What a great bunch of people and I will never forget it."

She further reflected on the experience: "It's harder than I ever anticipated, the feeling of being completely separated form the outside world was nothing I have ever experienced. I thought we were going to get backhanders, bananas and energy bars but you don't. And I am sick of rice and beans.

"I have learnt that I am so miserable and cranky sometimes and I can kill looks that literally kill but I have learnt how to be compassionate. You have all got to be there for each other and support each other. I have definitely become more tolerant."
