Wynne Evans may have dropped Katya Jones in it with the costume team on Strictly Come Dancing after confessing she 'interferes' with his costumes after they are done. The pair have been having a great time on the show so far, and are riding a big high from Movie Night last week.

They impressed the judges and audience with a lively routine and sensational costumes as opera singer Wynne transformed into Mrs Doubtfire for their Cha Cha to Papa's Got a Brand New Bag by James Brown. His impressive outfit got Fleur East talking on BBC spin-off It Takes Two on Friday night, as she said she 'didn't recognise him' without his skirt and wig.

Wynne revealed he had started to get into character at 9.30am in the morning and spent all day in either wardrobe or make-up right up until the live show. But he revealed Katya often makes changes to his costumes last minute - and made a sweet addition for Movie Week.

He told host Fleur: "I'll give you a tiny bit of behind the scenes. We've got this amazing wardrobe department and really you shouldn't interfere with them."

He then pointed at Katya, and said: "Someone loves a needle and a thread. So when they've finished sewing me into a costume, she starts...'this might come in useful, I'm going to do that again'."

He revealed she had also made a touching addition to his Mirs Doubtfire costume, adding: "When she sewed the pears into my neck, it was like awww that's so sweet."

Tomorrow night, Wynne and Katya will be dancing a Tango to Money, Money, Money by ABBA.

Strictly Come Dancing airs at 6.20pm on Saturday, October 12 on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
