Kyle Walker and Annie Kilner are 'working through' their marital woes and are 'open to conversations' about his £27 million fortune. The Manchester City footballer's wife is said to have asked for about half of Kyle's wealth in a bid to save their marriage.

A source has claimed that 'clever' mum-of-four Annie has been working behind the scenes to protect herself and her children over the past few years. She appears to be protecting her future financially after it came to light that Kyle had fathered two children with Channel 4 Celebs Go Dating star Lauryn Goodman.

The former model, 31, had kicked Kyle out of the Cheshire home they shared with sons Roman, 12, Riaan, eight, Reign, six and five-month-old Rezon. But they are now back living together after Kyle kept news about his secret family under wraps.

Now, a representative for the pair has confirmed talks about Annie's future cash situation are not off the table, Mirror reports. A spokeswoman for Kyle and Annie said "Annie and Kyle are living together, working through their marital problems and trying to establish a new routine.

"They are both open to conversations around financial security for Annie and the boys and will always protect the children under any circumstance." Kyle has two children with Lauryn - Kairo, four, and Kinara, one.

The pair were locked in a bitter court battle earlier this year, with a judge slamming Lauryn for using the England footballer as an 'open-ended chequebook'. According to The Sun, before marrying Kyle in 2022, Annie had asked several footballer's wives for advice on how to handle the 34-year-old's infidelity.

But it was the recent court battle with Goodman that reportedly encouraged Annie to put plans into action after being 'publicly humiliated'. A source told The Sun that Annie was blindsided by how much her cheating husband was paying his ex.

They said: "Annie created this family unit with Kyle and has been by his side through thick and thin. She's been a loyal partner and a good mother to his children, and she wants what is rightfully hers.

"She had no idea the extent Kyle had been paying Lauryn until the court case and she hit the roof.

"Annie is trying to make it work with Kyle, but she doesn't know what will happen. But going forward she knows her future is secure, whatever they decide to do."
