David Beckham is now so famous he drives a wedge between Royals, according to experts. One has hinted that Meghan Markle might be feeling "annoyed" following the viral news of Prince William's unexpected catch-up with David Beckham, a former friend of the Sussexes.

The heir to the throne was joined by the England football legend at RAF Northolt on Tuesday to mark the successful end of the London Air Ambulance's 'Up Against Time' campaign, which raised £16m for two new helicopters. This gathering took place mere hours after Prince Harry's fleeting visit to the UK for the WellChild awards on Monday.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were once close with the Beckhams, who attended their 2018 nuptials. However, reports suggest that their friendship has cooled over time.

Royal expert Kinsey Schofield weighed in on the matter during Andrew Gold's Youtube show when asked if Prince William's recent appearance with David Beckham could be seen as "beating Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at their own game" and whether it would "annoy" Meghan. Schofield replied: "Yes, I do think that this is something that will annoy Meghan Markle."

She continued: "After two weeks of bad press since Prince Harry's been gone. I just think that she's probably livid right now, based on the reaction that she's getting from all of these stories. She's had to deal with that while Prince Harry's been out of town.", reports the Mirror.

Discussing the Royal dynamics, a commentator said: "That's gotta be incredibly hard for her. And then to see this kind of victory moment from Prince William. A victory moment that she would tell you it should have been Harry's moment after the WellChild awards, that would be upsetting to her."

In related discussions, an expert insisted Harry and Meghan Markle find themselves "at odds" with David and Victoria Beckham for a very obvious reason. Gossip has consistently suggested that the friendship between the two high-profile couples has cooled, especially since the Beckhams seem to have favoured interacting with William and Princess Kate.

The speculation intensified when Prince William, accompanied by David Beckham, was seen assessing a new air ambulance helicopter shortly after Harry's uncommon return to the UK.

The Prince of Wales, who also happens to be the patron of London Air Ambulance Charity that initiated its Up Against Time campaign, welcomed the arrival of two new H135 helicopters. These significant additions, made possible by raising a remarkable £16 million through the charity appeal, were revealed with Beckham at his side.

Remarkably, £4 million of the funds were collected via the Omaze campaign, which received Beckham's support.

Richard Eden has suggested that it's hardly a shocker that the Beckhams would be at odds with Meghan and Harry, especially after a family tiff left David and Victoria less than thrilled. The columnist notes that David has long been a staunch royalist, "who would stand up for the Queen's Speech every Christmas, dressed in his Sunday best."

He also pointed out that "years later, he queued for 12 hours to view the Queen's coffin when her body was lying in state."

Moreover, "Both David and Victoria put great importance on family and would never, ever turn on their relations the way that Harry and Meghan did."

Eden mentioned that an insider shared with him: "The truth is that Victoria never really liked Meghan much. She was friendly and welcoming to her but is not bothered about staying in touch."

Meanwhile, the Prince of Wales, who champions London's Air Ambulance Charity, personally reached out to the football icon to front the house draw campaign, expressing gratitude for Beckham's ongoing support of the charity. Beckham expressed: "We're here today to celebrate ... the success of the fundraiser for London's air ambulances which is something close to my heart and has been for a number of years. I'm an East End boy so every time we saw them in the air it made us very proud. As soon as I was asked to be involved by Prince William it was something I was very honoured (to do) in all honesty."

The duo exchanged warm greetings like long-time mates before clambering aboard one of the H135 helicopters. Prince William, aged 42, gleefully opted for the pilot's seat.

His tenure as an air ambulance pilot with East Anglian Air Ambulance from March 2015 to July 2017 was recalled with great fondness while chatting with the pilots and medical team present.

Dedicated football enthusiast William was seen sharing what seemed to be a merry banter with the erstwhile pro in the cockpit, both decked out in smart dark suits complemented by unbuttoned-collar shirts. The pair made their marks on the aircraft: William jubilantly inscribing "back in the middle! " whilst Beckham penned "Thank you! Fly safe, love David Beckham", topped off with his signature kiss and the iconic number 7 a nod to his old jersey number.
