His first tip wasn't actually a food item but a drink ingredient - caffeine.

Thomas revealed: "Not many people know this, but caffeine's the number one ingredient in 90 per cent of fat burners, due to it being an appetite suppressant."

His second tip was something you could actually consume – white fish, reports Surrey Live.

"It's one of the leanest proteins out there because per 100 grams, it's only 85 calories and you get 20.2 grams of protein."

The third item on Thomas' list was "pretty much any green leafy vegetable". He elaborated: "If you want a little cheat code to make fat loss easier, literally take as much green veg as possible and pile it on your plate with your other foods."

For those who aren't fans of vegetables, Thomas had some straightforward advice: "Just grow the f**k up."

Nutrition expert Thomas shared what he regards as a top pick for the cleanest proteins – egg whites. He explained: "I'm not saying don't eat whole eggs again, but if you top these up with your normal eggs... game-changer."

He highlighted their low-calorie content of just 48 calories per 100 grams and their high protein of nearly 11 grams.

To round off his recommendations, he picked fresh berries to combat sugar cravings, pointing out they're laden with natural sugars and are low in calories, sure to "sort you out". His followers applauded the advice; one fan commended him for the "good hacks", while another chimed in, "You talk sense."
