Tasha Ghouri is tipped to make a fortune after her stint on Strictly Come Dancing, according to industry insiders. The television personality and her professional dance partner Aljaz Skorjanec impressed during the BBC show's Movie Week with a captivating Rumba to What Was I Made For? from the Barbie film, securing a combined score of 65 points and topping the previous week's leaderboard.

Having made history as the first deaf contestant on Love Island, where she paired up with boyfriend Andrew Le Page and finished fourth, Tasha has since become an advocate for the deaf community and launched her podcast Superpowers with Tasha, which celebrates "empowering people and their superpowers".

Her work as an ambassador for organisations such as The Prince's Trust, Royal Voluntary Service, NDCS, and Deaf Kidz International has further solidified her reputation. Additionally, she has co-authored her debut novel, Hits Different, with Lizzie Huxley-Jones, which follows the journey of a young deaf adult aspiring to become a dancer.

While Tasha has achieved significant success since her Love Island appearance, industry experts predict that her career will reach new heights after Strictly, catapulting her into mainstream popularity, reports Lancs Live.

According to Lynn Carratt, Head of Talent at Press Box PR, speaking to industry data platform Stocklytics, Tasha's story is expected to resonate with the prime-time Strictly audience, ultimately resulting in substantial financial gains for her after the show. Speaking for Stocklytics, Lynn remarked: "Tasha has proved herself to not only be a fabulous dancer, but as an inspirational person performing in front of millions each week. Now, she'll be able to go from strength to strength and build on her new popularity amongst the prime time Strictly audience, following in the footsteps of Zara McDermott who carved out a successful career in documentary presenting."

Lynn added: "There's a number of traits Tasha has going for her: First, her charity work and raising awareness for the challenges hearing impaired people face on a daily basis is helping raise her profile, and mirrors Rose Ayling-Ellis' Strictly win in 2021."

Regarding her unique appeal, she explained: "Second, her breakaway from the typical Love Island route, including her long-term relationship with Andrew Le Page, will resonate well with Strictly viewers, raising her profile amongst a more sophisticated audience."

And regarding her marketability, Lynn said: "Third, her newly found mainstream popularity will also boost her podcast listenership and book sales, further increasing her value to brands and saleability to broadcasters and producers."

Lynn concluded by predicting a lucrative future: "All these factors mean she will become more attractive for brand deals at a loftier level to those normally attained by Love Island stars. Due to a wider mass appeal, higher profile, and a fantastic backstory, she is likely to make more than £1m in brand deals in the next 12 months if she waltzes off with the glitter ball."
