Harris offers 'different path' from Trump in closing argument at nation's capital
by Sheri Walsh · UPIOct. 29 (UPI) -- Vice President Kamala Harris issued her "closing argument" Tuesday evening, with seven days before the Nov. 5 general election, in a speech at the Ellipse outside the White House in Washington, D.C., where she attacked former President Donald Trump and vowed to bring the country together.
"One week from today, you will have the chance to make a decision that directly impacts your lives, the lives of your family and the future of this country we love," Harris said, as she opened her speech, "and it will probably be the most important vote you will ever cast."
