The death has occurred of Derek Bowen

Johnstownbridge, Kildare / Ballingaddy, Kilmallock, Limerick.

September 18, 2024, after a short illness, in the tender and loving care of all the staff at House 1, Dunfirth Community for Autism, Johnstownbridge.

Always remembered by his parents, Tom and Josephine, sister Sonya, brothers Roger and Garreth, his Dunfirth family, extended family, kind neighbours, and all who loved Derek and treated him with respect, empathy and patience.

A Mass of Remembrance will be held at St Patrick’s Church, Johnstownbridge, County Kildare (A83 TK35) this Friday, September 20, at 2.30pm.

Derek's funeral will arrive to St Mary’s Church, Ballingaddy, Kilmallock (V35 F767) for Requiem Mass at 11am on Saturday, September 21, followed by private cremation service.

House private.

No flowers please, donations if desired to a charity of your choice. 

Derek's Requiem Mass will be live streamed, link to follow.

The death has occurred of Maura Dwyer (née Daly)

Courtown Park, Kilcock, Kildare.

Peacefully, in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff, in the Maple Ward at Connolly Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Maura, predeceased by her husband Tom, mother Julia, and brothers Jim, John Joe, and Frank.

Deeply regretted by her cousins Pat, Anne, Seán, Tony, Seamie, Maura, and their families, sister in laws Rosemary, Aileen, extended family, relatives, wonderful neighbours, and many friends. 

May She Rest In Peace.

Reposing at her residence on Thursday from 5pm to 7pm. 

Removal on Friday to St Coca's Church, Kilcock, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in St Joseph's Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Martin (MD) Mullins

Church Crescent, Church Road, Athy, Kildare / Ballygurteen, Paulstown, Kilkenny.

Most recent of Church Crescent, Church Road, Athy on September 18, peacefully in the loving and tender care of the staff of Cloverlodge Nursing Home and in the presence of his loving wife Frances, after an illness bravely borne.

Predeceased by his parents and his sister Mary.

Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Frances, his daughters Lorna and Karen and his son John, his five grandchildren, Hannah, George, Paul, Daniel & Aoife, his daughter in law Sinead, son in law Rory, his brother Pat, sisters, Eilish, Winnie & Helen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May he Rest in Peace.

Peacefully, at Naas Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
