Amazon slashes Ninja Foodi air fryer to cheapest-ever price in early Black Friday sale

Amazon has slashed more than £70 off the Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone Air Fryer that has shoppers ditching their ovens ahead of Black Friday

Amazon has slashed the price of a Ninja air fryer in an early Black Friday deal. The Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone Air Fryer has seen a price drop to £159, down from the usual £229.99 and a saving of £70.99.

This is cheapest it's ever been on Amazon, according to price tracker camelcamelcamel. The deal is also available at Argos, while Ninja is offering it for £169.99.

The versatile gadget boasts six cooking functions including max crisp, air fry, roast, bake, reheat and dehydrate. With two separate cooking zones, the fryer allows for different dishes to be prepared simultaneously even on different settings with the innovative Sync function.

The Foodi MAX has a large 9.5L capacity that can hold a 2kg chicken or 1.4kg of chips within its twin 4.75L drawers, making it ideal for feeding up to eight people. It can cook up to 75 percent faster than traditional fan ovens, according to Ninja.

It's also said to create healthier meals with up to 75 percent less fat than traditional frying methods. What's more, the air fryer has non-stick, dishwasher-safe parts, so cleaning up is a doddle.

The Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone Air Fryer has achieved an impressive 4.8-star rating on Amazon, with more than 32,000 customers awarding it five stars. Shoppers have said it's 'great looking and cooks superbly', with some saying they haven't used their oven since buying.

'This is fantastic. Since purchasing we have never used our main cooker for any cooking.'

One happy customer said: "It's exactly as you'd expect from Ninja, 10/10. Superb air fryer, very well made, great looking and cooks superbly. Easy to operate, easy to understand and above all very easy to clean, really cannot fault it in any way. Holds plenty of food which would easily feed a family of four. Very highly recommended."

Another said: "Since purchasing this we have never used our main cooker for any cooking at all. This is fantastic. My wife has used it for baking cakes, meals etc. in fact you name it you can probably cook it in this it is very versatile. It is extremely easy to use. I love the fact that you can pop something in to cook, set the appropriate timer and leave it and go and do something else. It will cook then a short cooling cycle and your food is done. The fact that it will put one tray on hold till the other side is cooking and then make sure both trays finish at the same time is excellent. Performance is first class and is extremely good value for money."

A third thriller buyer said: "Game Changer in the Kitchen. The Ninja Foodi MAX has transformed the way I cook. The built-in thermometer is fantastic for perfectly cooking chicken every time. Since getting this I've dramatically reduced my use of the oven, which has even helped lower my utility bills. I love that I can prepare fresh meals daily instead of cooking in larger batches. This appliance is a must-have for anyone looking to save time and enjoy delicious, healthier meals. Highly recommend."

However, despite a glowing five-star review, the same review added: "Would suggest buying silicone liners to facilitate a quicker clean as the drawers can be a bit tedious to clean after every use."

One user who wasn't impressed went on: "There is nothing I like about this awful product. It has cost more in wasted food than anything it's actually produces, which could be classed as remotely edible. Baked potatoes come out like charcoal on the outside and uncooked inside."

Amazon has also reduced the price of the smaller 7.6L Foodi Max, which is now almost half price at £119, down from £219.99. Elsewhere, Debenhams is offering big discounts on a range of air fryers ahead of its Black Friday sale, including £81.50 off the Living and Home 10L Dual Basket Air Fryer at £88.50 and £143 off the Living and Home 15L 3-tier Air Fryer at £56.99.
