During a spine-tingling segment on This Morning, presenters Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley were left feeling uneasy as they welcomed Britain's very own 'real-life Addams family'.

Jon Paul Kenny, Kymmi Jeffrey, and their daughters made a grand entrance in their rather unusual family car a hearse.

This prompted Ben to remark, "It's intimidating isn't it when a hearse drives into the studio!" Cat playfully responded, hinting at a grim future by saying, "Maybe it's a premonition of what's to come."

Before inviting the gothic clan for an interview, Ben noted Cat's "sinister" greeting towards them, reports the Mirror.

The pair learned from their guests that they owned a haunted museum in their garage, even bringing along some eerie artifacts.

Ben admitted his discomfort around the macabre collection, stating, "Yeah, I'm slightly worried about that!"

Jon proceeded to share with the presenters that their household experiences frightening events as regularly as others celebrate Halloween.

Cat's curiosity was piqued by one particularly ominous item shrouded under a black velvet cloth, leading her to inquire further.

Kymmi unveiled that beneath the veil lay a haunted mirror acquired from Hell's House in Middlesbrough, a location notorious for its malevolent spirits.

She recounted acquiring the mirror and inexplicably suffering an allergic reaction to her face soon after, although no connection was suspected at the time.

To add to the intrigue, she divulged that Jon also had an alarming episode of illness shortly following their possession of the mirror.

After some of their party guests reported feeling unwell or experiencing strange reactions after gazing into the mirror, the family opted to conceal it. The show's hosts were given permission to look into the mirror, but only after signing waivers acknowledging the potential risks.

Cat declined, saying, "I'm going to give this one a miss! " Ben, however, decided to take a peek, carefully ensuring that the mirror was not visible to viewers at home. In a tense moment, the mirror nearly toppled off its stand.

Ben joked, "I feel like I might break the mirror, regardless of whether you believe in any of this stuff, the idea of seven years of bad luck with the most haunted mirror in the world? " He promised the family that he would let them know if he experienced any adverse effects after gazing into the mirror.

This Morning is on ITV1 weekdays at 10am and on ITVX
