Strictly Come Dancing week 5 leaderboard as stars fight to avoid dance-off

Strictly Come Dancing has reached week five and once again, two celebrities will face the dreaded dance off as one will be sent home

by · Wales Online

After Nick Knowles' exit from Strictly Come Dancing, the competition intensified as the celebrities aimed to steer clear of the dance-off.

Currently, Wynne Evans, Paul Merson, and Dr Punam Krishan are tipped as likely candidates for elimination. Opera singer Wynne's odds were initially 20/1, but BetMGM has slashed them to just 9/2, making him the third favourite to potentially take his final bow on Sunday night.

Paul is still leading as the most probable to depart at 10/11, while Punam, who found herself at the bottom of last week's leaderboard, is a 13/4 bet.

BetMGM's UK Director, Sam Behar, commented: "Paul Merson might be the favourite to leave Strictly this weekend but Wynne Evans certainly isn't without a chance of leaving. He looked a lively outsider a couple of weeks ago in the outright betting but the news this week certainly hasn't helped his chances and he's been very well-backed to exit on Sunday night."
