Paul O’Neill’s awful World Series first pitch required a do-over
· New York PostIs it a sign of things to come?
Former Yankees outfielder —and current YES Network analyst — Paul O’Neill was tapped to throw out the ceremonial first pitch for Game 4, and it did not go well.
He totally airmailed the throw to ex-pitcher AJ Burnett in a first pitch to forget.
Burnett went and grabbed the ball and then sent it back to O’Neil for a redo.
The second attempt was better… but not the greatest either.
Omen or funny moment?

Derek Jeter, for what it’s worth, threw something close to a strike in Game 3, and the Yankees ended up with a 4-2 loss.
