Jets vs. Patriots live updates: Gang Green cruises to dominant win but faces injury concern

· New York Post

It was as if MetLife Stadium was the Bizarro World Thursday night.

The Jets (2-1) dominated the Patriots (1-2), 24-3, a departure from how so much of this one-sided rivalry has played out in recent years.

Aaron Rodgers carved up the Patriots’ defense, completing 27 of 35 passes for 281 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions.

And the Jets’ defense gave the Patriots fits all night, surrendering just 139 total yards yards and 11 first downs. Will McDonald shined, recording two sacks, four quarterback hits and a tackle for loss.

Garrett Wilson recorded five catches for 33 yards and a touchdown, while Breece Hall added 83 total yards and a touchdown.

Allen Lazard also continued his resurgent second season with the team, hauling in four catches for 48 yards and a touchdown.

The Jets next host the Broncos (0-2) on Sunday.
