Tom Brady only got a few days notice before Gisele Bündchen’s pregnancy reveal
· New York PostTom Brady reportedly was aware of his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen’s pregnancy when he called the Bills-Seahawks game on Fox Sports on Sunday.
The supermodel informed the retired quarterback just last week that she’s pregnant with her and boyfriend Joaquim Valente’s child, according to Page Six.
The news of her pregnancy was first reported Monday by People.
Bündchen, 44, is about five or six months along in her pregnancy, TMZ reported, adding that she and Valente — a 35-year-old professional jiu-jitsu trainer — are waiting until birth to find out their baby’s gender.
Brady and Bündchen, whose divorce was finalized in October 2022, co-parent son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11.
The seven-time Super Bowl champ also has a 15-year-old son, Jack, with his ex, actress Bridget Moynahan.
“I think they talk when they have to,” a source told Page Six of Brady and Bündchen. “Tom does his best for the kids and puts them first and that’s all that matters — he’s trying his best.”
The same source said it was in Bündchen’s style to keep her pregnancy a secret from Brady.
“Tom’s great, a very nice, normal guy,” the source said. “Gisele is… very different. She really blows hot and cold.”
Brady and Bündchen have yet to publicly address the news.
Two weeks prior, the former Victoria’s Secret Angel was photographed with a purse covering her torso while leaving a pilates studio in Miami — where both she and Brady have homes.
The Fox Sports broadcaster, who is in his first season of a 10-year $375 million contract, did post a photo of a sunset, along with some cryptic song lyrics about “changing,” on his Instagram Story.
“Oh, mirror in the sky, what is love?” read the lyrics from song, “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac, as covered by The Chicks in 2022. “Can the child within my heart rise above? Can I sail through the changing ocean tides? Can I handle the seasons of my life?”
Bündchen confirmed her relationship with Valente in March 2024.
“This is the first time I am seeing someone that was a friend of mine first. It’s very different,” she said in an interview with The New York Times. “It is very honest, and it’s very transparent.”
