Marvel’s Magic: The Gathering Cards Featuring Wolverine, Iron Man, Storm and More Revealed; Spider-Man Set Coming in 2025
by Jennifer Maas · VarietyMarvel is kicking off its partnership with popular tabletop card game Magic: The Gathering with the release of sets featuring iconic superheroes Captain America, Black Panther, Iron Man, Wolverine and Storm.
Magic: The Gathering maker Wizards of the Coast, owned by gaming giant Hasbro, says this Secret Lair release is the beginning of a multiyear partnership between Magic and Marvel. The first full Magic set in the deal is based on Marvel’s Spider-Man and will be released in 2025.
The Marvel cards will be released in a limited quantity via a Secret Lair Superdrop sale Nov. 4 at 9 a.m. PT on the Magic: The Gathering Secret Lair website. Pricing is $39.99 for non-foil cards and $49.99 for foil cards. Additional bundles will also be available.
