Kristin Cavallari Addresses Ex-Husband Jay Cutler's DUI Arrest in Podcast Intro

Kristin Cavallari kicked off her most recent Let's Be Honest podcast episode with a disclaimer, saying it had been recorded before her ex-husband Jay Cutler's DUI arrest.

“Really quickly, just before we get into the episode, I wanted to hop on here and just let you guys know that this episode was recorded right before a very public incident happened last week with my ex-husband,” the Laguna Beach star said at the top of the episode (via Us Weekly). “Just keep that in mind as you’re listening.”

“I will not be commenting on what happened,” she added. “I do of course wish Jay nothing but the best and I do hope that he gets the help that he needs. But that’s the only thing that I will be saying about it publicly.”

Jay was arrested in Tennessee on Thursday, October 17, and charged with driving under the influence as well as "failure to exercise due care, violation of implied consent law, and possession of a handgun while under the influence." He posted a $5,000 bond and was released that same night.

He and Kristin were married for almost a decade and starred in Very Cavallari together, before getting divorced in 2022. Back in 2023 she said she didn't regret the marriage, explaining "I really think everything I’ve gone through has made me who I am. And I mean, getting married, obviously it got me my three kids, but it got me to Franklin, Tennessee. It ultimately led me to launch Uncommon James because I was living in Chicago and really needed something to do. And I’m so thankful for that. That’s what I’m the most proud of professionally."
