football.london takes a look at how the Gunners could line up for their Premier League clash with Leicester City at Emirates Stadium

After such an intense run of away games, Arsenal will finally be expecting an easier game when they take on Leicester at the Emirates. Mikel Arteta is making sure they don't take their eyes off the ball though.

"I asked them the question yesterday, to write it: ‘What are the difficulties and the challenges here?’" he revealed in his pre-match press conference. "And they were very clear about it, so they know what is coming, and they know this league so far so good, and they know that we’re going to require to be at the top level tomorrow to beat them."

If you'd offered Arsenal 11 points from the opening five fixtures that the computer served up they probably would have taken it. The reality is now though, that they are playing catch up. Only three points will do.

Their chances of getting those won't be helped by the fact that Martin Odegaard, Kieran Tierney, Oleksandr Zinchekno, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Mikel Merino are all out for the game. Neto and Leandro Trossard are back available though after missing Wednesday's win over Bolton by being cup-tied and suspended respectively.

With a crucial Champions League match against PSG coming up this Tuesday though, Arteta faces a potentially tricky balancing act. Here's who football.london expects him to pick.

Goalkeeper - David Raya

There are serious doubts over David Raya's availability for Leicester as he continues to struggle with a thigh issue. If the Spaniard is close to fitness though, he will surely play.

Right back - Jurrien Timber

After Ben White was forced to play with an injury at Manchester City he was given the night off against Botlon. Jurrien Timber is closer to fitness though and should get the nod at right back.(Image: David Price/Arsenal FC via Getty Images)

Centre back - William Saliba

Centre back - Gabriel

Gabriel did come on towards the end against Bolton but should be fine to start this one. He'll be looking to make it three goals in three league games.

Left back - Riccardo Calafiori

Calafiori got crucial minutes in his legs at both centre back and left back against Bolton. He should be ready to start at left back here.(Image: Marc Atkins/Getty Images)

Defensive midfield - Thomas Partey

Central midfield - Leandro Trossard

There's an argument to play Ethan Nwaneri in Martin Odegaard's place after his superb display against Bolton in midweek. However, with Leandro Trossard available again, you feel he will get the role.

Central midfield - Declan Rice

Rice really looked at his best from an attacking perspective against Bolton. With possession likely to be in Arsenal's favour, the England midfielder should be able to show it again vs Leicester.

Right wing - Bukayo Saka

Bukayo Saka barely broke a sweat against Bolton and was still superb. He could become the first player to grab six assists in his first six Premier League games this weekend.(Image: Alex Pantling/Getty Images)

Centre forward - Kai Havertz

Kai Havertz lived up to his chant by scoring again after coming on against Bolton. He'll want to keep that up against Leicester.

Left wing - Gabriel Martinelli

Raheem Sterling may have been impressive against Leicester, but Gabriel Martinelli probably keeps his spot for now. If the Brazilian is anywhere even slightly off top form though, Sterling will be ready and waiting in the wings.(Image: Kevork Djansezian/Getty Images)
