Oasis' sell-out reunion tour has come under fire from fans who have failed to receive tickets due to issues with ticket outlets.

However, it seems that those desperate to see both Noel and Liam Gallagher on stage after 15 years since the band split, may now get the opportunity. It has been reported that the iconic group are in talks to record a live album to celebrate Oasis '25. And those close to the musical genius brothers, claim they are likely to take up the offer on the table.

A source told The Sun: "The Oasis reunion is an historic moment and these concerts will be talked about for decades to come. Many people around the brothers think they have to capture the shows. A live album of the Oasis reunion could be as iconic as The Who's Live At Leeds in 1970 or Queen’s Live At Wembley ’86."

They added: "It would capture the rock ’n’ roll alchemy that happens when Noel and Liam are on stage together. By the time they’re playing next summer, it will have been 16 years since they last performed together and the sound will have evolved — and that is special. A recording at Heaton Park or Wembley would make the most sense — given that Heaton will be the brothers’ homecoming shows in Manchester, and Wembley is one of the most famous venues in the world."

Their insight went on to add to the publication: "The concerts are a long way off and Oasis are focused on those shows at the moment. But Noel and Liam would be mad not to record their reunion in a live album." Fans of the group have been inundating the ticket seller websites but there are those who are reserving judgement after their disastrous Wembley concert in 2000.

Liam turned up drunk on stage, missed out on lyrics to their iconic songs and launched into a foul-mouth rant at the crowd. So now, as Wembley is included in their hugely anticipated 17-date UK and Ireland tour, fans will be praying the duo will redeem themselves 16 years later. When asked about the infamous show, Noel told Radio X in 2017: "[That was] the low point in Oasis. It was a horrible two-and-a-half hours on stage. Liam can hang his head in shame. It was dreadful."

The band played two shows at the iconic venue as part of their tour for their fourth album Standing on the Shoulder of Giants. It was meant to be televised and record the show for a live album but Liam scuppered those plans. He regularly missed out words to the songs and replaced lyrics to songs including Supersonic, Roll With It and Cigarettes and Alcohol.

He then launched into a tirade at fans and revealed details of his drug use. But it got worse as he then asked to see a woman's breasts on the big screens. Last year, the bad boy of rock and roll claimed that was the last time he consumed too much alcohol before a gig.

Speaking to Radio X, Liam explained: "I’ve not drank booze on stage since that famous Wembley gig. Remember that one where it all went a bit...Apparently people like that kind of thing but now I steer clear of all of that, do you know what I mean? It’s just water man, stuff like that."
