Iron Maiden announce huge world tour to celebrate 50 years as a band

Rock legends Iron Maiden have announced a huge world tour ahead of the band celebrating its 50th anniversary next year, with Bruce Dickinson announcing the news today

Rock gods Iron Maiden are set to storm Dublin with a massive gig at Malahide Castle, heating up the summer of 2025.

The iconic metal maestros have earmarked Wednesday 25 June 2025 for their Run for Your Lives World Tour, pending approval. Frontman Bruce Dickinson couldn't contain his excitement, saying: "Next year is a very special one for Iron Maiden and we're going to be giving our fans a once-in-a-lifetime live experience."

Bruce amped up the hype by announcing, "This is a tour that's gonna put a smile on your face and a cheer in your throat. If you've seen us before, then get ready to take that experience to a whole new level." Bruce threw down the gauntlet to new fans, declaring, "If you've never seen us before, then what the hell have you been waiting for? Now's your chance to find out what you've been missing! Iron Maiden's definitely gonna get ya!"

Providing support for this metal extravaganza will be Halestorm and The Raven Age. Ticket scramble starts Friday 27 September at high noon, with sales kicking off on Ticketmaster. Fans can beat the rush with pre-sales exclusive to Iron Maiden Fan Club members and Mastercard holders.

In a move sure to thrill aficionados, Iron Maiden has vowed an epic setlist reaching back through their illustrious early years, from their self-titled debut up through 'Fear of the Dark', promising the most spectacular show for their milestone 50th anniversary bash. Iron Maiden will return to the Irish capital after their last electrifying performance at a packed 3Arena in June 2023.

Iron Maiden are set to kick off their Run For Your Lives World Tour on May 27th next year in Budapest, followed by a series of 27 stadium, festival and arena shows across Europe. The tour commemorates the 50th anniversary of Steve Harris forming the band back in late 1975. To mark this milestone, Maiden fans are promised an extraordinary set list that spans nine studio albums from 'Iron Maiden' to 'Fear Of The Dark', accompanied by their most spectacular and elaborate show to date!

The band have an impressive discography with 41 albums under their belt, including 17 studio albums, 13 live albums, four EPs, and seven compilations. They've also dropped 47 singles, 20 video albums, and even ventured into the gaming world with two video games.

Their lyrics are a tapestry of themes ranging from history and literature to war, mythology, dark fantasy, science fiction, society, and religion. As of October 2019, they've rocked out at 2,500 live shows. For more than four decades, their iconic mascot "Eddie" has graced nearly all their album covers.
