If you are in need an iPhone upgrade then now is a good time to go shopping. Apple has just popped the latest and greatest iPhone 16 range of smartphones in stores which now feature faster A18 processors, a refreshed design with tougher Ceramic Shield glass and the introduction of a new button called Camera Control.

This neat update sits on the side of the device and lets you launch the camera app, snap photos and even zoom or change the settings via simple swipes.

Other extras on the iPhone 16 range include improved rear lenses that will shoot superior images and videos plus there's better battery life, faster wireless charging and full integration with the upcoming Apple Intelligence upgrade which will make these devices smarter.

Sound enticing? The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro is available from today, Friday September 20, with prices starting from £799.

If that sounds a little to much for your bank balance there are some pretty simple ways to slash that cost. Firstly, Apple is offering some big money off if you trade in your current smartphone. For example, hand over an iPhone 15 Pro Max in good condition and your new iPhone 16 will be £645 cheaper.

An iPhone 14 could get you £330 off and those with an iPhone 13 will see reduced by up to £260. There's even money off if you have an iPhone 12 or iPhone 11 in your pocket.

Here's how much your iPhone could be worth via Apple trade in

• iPhone 15 Pro Max - £645

• iPhone 15 Pro - £555

• iPhone 15 - £415

• iPhone 15 Plus - £420

• iPhone 14 Pro Max - £575

• iPhone 14 Pro - £470

• iPhone 14 - £330

• iPhone 14 Plus - £335

• iPhone 13 Pro Max - £390

• iPhone 13 Pro - £330

• iPhone 13 - £260

• iPhone 13 mini - £220

Along with these trade-in deals, Apple is also offering 0% finance - via Barclays - which means you can spread the cost and pay things back via monthly instalments.

Apple has confirmed that pr-orders will start from 1pm BST with the devices then shipping the follow week.

Expect all of the big UK networks to also reveal their deals on the iPhone 16 range later tomorrow.
