Black Ops 6 is finally released, but its influence won't end there as Warzone adopts its stylings for a new era of the battle royale title.

Today’s the big day! Black Ops 6 has finally been unleashed upon the world after players lugged through its preload period and attempted its New Zealand trick, and the biggest shooter franchise on the planet is able to show players its new approach to the series with its omnidirectional movement system. To be fair, many players are likely to be flocking to it just because it’s the biggest game that Xbox Game Pass has ever bagged on day one, and for that, we’re pretty confident it’ll perform well.

Either way, the game is set to make a splash not just on its own, but when it comes together with Warzone to revitalise the Call of Duty battle royale title and inject it with a little more Treyarch flair. It’s going to be an exciting day when the game gets its overhaul – and thanks to a leak from a pizza company (yes, pizza has brought Call of Duty to its knees), we may finally have the date that we can expect the Black Ops 6 to make its mark in Warzone, taking over from MW3. Here’s what you need to know about the Warzone Black Ops 6 release date.

Warzone Black Ops 6 release date leaked

The Warzone Black Ops 6 release date will reportedly be Thursday, November 14, according to a post from the “spoiler-free leaker” @BobNetworkUK_ on Twitter, the This claim has come from promotional marketing materials from Little Ceasars, the US pizza company that has an ongoing marketing collaboration with the game series. The mention of the release date was revealed in the fine print of the collaborative website between Call of Duty and the company, which has since been removed.

This is a curious date to debut the new version of Warzone, given that major Warzone updates usually happen on a Wednesday and this date falls on a Thursday, but given that MW3's takeover of Warzone came around a month after the core game's release date, this does track. Three weeks is a shorter timespan than we experienced last year, but it's not out of the realm of possibility that this date is correct.

It’s interesting that the release date should leak in this way, but it’s incredibly good news for players. The timing is pretty considerate – it’ll give the players that are so inclined to get to know how Black Ops 6 operates before it takes over the Warzone structure that was offered by the arrival of MW3, and say farewell to the structure that was home to their antics for the last year.

The update has been a long time coming, though, and it’s going to be one hell of a farewell for players to bid. Enjoy MW3 Warzone while it lasts.
