The mention of the release date was revealed in the fine print of the collaborative website between Call of Duty and the company, which has since been removed.

This is a curious date to debut the new version of Warzone, given that major Warzone updates usually happen on a Wednesday and this date falls on a Thursday, but given that MW3's takeover of Warzone came around a month after the core game's release date, this does track. Three weeks is a shorter timespan than we experienced last year, but it's not out of the realm of possibility that this date is correct.
